Quick Flux and Development Workflow with Upscaling

Flux, a newcomer in the open source community, has already exhibited extraordinary innovation less than a week after its release. I’ve been exploring the use of Flux on Runpod ($0.34 per hour) and, in the process, I came across a local workflow by @plasm0 that allows upscaling.

Inspired by this, I decided to run a local instance of Flux with ComfyUI on my computer. The remarkable results were beyond my expectations. For anyone interested, the workflow is readily available for download.

The user-friendly workflow combines Flux Schnell to generate the initial image, followed by Flux Dev to create a superior detailed image. The final upscaling of the image is processed using an upscale model.

Although this is just a preview of the workflow, it can be downloaded via the provided link above. To tailor the workflow to my needs, I made a few revisions; however, they aren’t significant. Therefore, anyone interested is encouraged to explore and customize it according to their preference.

The workflow’s potential is demonstrated through the end product – the exceptional quality of the resulting images is truly impressive. With this innovative tool, Flux opens up new possibilities for the open source community within its first week of release. Whether for personal or professional use, this workflow provides a way to create high quality, detailed images with ease. An encounter with @plasm0’s discovery of an upscaling supportive run has proven to be of tremendous value. As we extend our usage and experimentation with the Flux-toolkit, magnificent creations set to revolutionize the world of imagery awaits us all.
